PE Lessons

Children come into school in PE kit on their PE days. For the academic year 2026/27, these are as follows:

Year 3 - Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Year 4 - Mondays and Thursdays

5A and 5B - Tuesdays and Fridays

5E - Thursdays and Fridays

Year 6 - Thursdays 

PE Kit 

PE kit is to be worn in to school on PE days (and only on PE days). 

*Chandler School PE T-shirt, in House Colour £6.50

*Red Chandler School PE Hoodie (optional), £13.50 (plain) / £15 (with embroidered logo)

Otherwise a Red Chandler School sweatshirt or cardigan as above

Note – no other jumpers or hoodies allowed

Plain black or navy shorts, skorts, leggings or joggers (no stripes or logos)

Note – no other colours allowed

Plain socks/trainer socks 

Trainers

Long Hair

Shoulder length or longer hair (boys and girls) must be tied back neatly. Children who do not have their hair tied back will be provided with a hairband or elastic band.

Earrings

Children with pierced ears may wear one small stud earring in each earlobe (hoops or dangly earrings are not permitted). However, the earrings must be removed for sport and PE activities. For this reason, children must be able to remove their earrings themselves – if they are unable to do so, please remove the earrings before school on PE days.

Watches

Watches may be brought into school, but please ensure that they are CLEARLY MARKED and handed to the class teacher for all PE and games lessons. Smart watches are treated in the same way as mobile phones.
