The Chandler C of E Junior School

Music Lessons

At The Chandler, the children have the opportunity to take part in music both in school in their class lessons, and in other ways such as in the school choir.

The children can also have instrumental music lessons in school which are run by external providers. We have a number of teachers who come into school to deliver the lessons during the school day.

Currently we have three providers who come into school as listed below. To find out more please check out their websites or contact them directly (see below) for more information and to book/pay for lessons.

The Music Works offer a range of music tuition. Currently they teach drum, guitar, keyboard, singing and band skills lessons at The Chandler. For more information, visit their website The Music Works

Keith Ryder - Guitar & Ukelele lessons. Keith may be contacted on: 01483 414874 or 07958 534458, or by emailing keith.ryder@btinternet.com.

Surrey Arts are very pleased to offer children the opportunity to have music lessons, covering a wide range of instruments. The recommended age for instrumental teaching will vary depending on the instrument. Please see When you can learn to play an instrument and what instruments we hire for information. At present, they provide tuition in clarinet and saxophone at The Chandler.
